Circus Dental Practice goes Digital...

Following on from the install of new network cabling and an additional workstation by VIP//IT, Circus Dental Practice has now completed its install of a VistaScan digital x-ray unit.

The Durr VistaScan unit was supplied by Wood Lane Dental, and its install to the network was supported by VIP//IT. Software of Excellence then supplied the patch to activate the digital imaging within the Exact Practice Management software.

The new Durr VistaScan technology dispenses with the need for traditional film x-rays. Instead of developing the plate to a film, the VistaScan unit scans the plate and produces a digital image. This image carries the patients details and is added into the patients record within the Exact database.
